Racial Harmony Day games are played during Racial Harmony Day which is celebrated in Singapore schools on 21st July to mark the Racial riots that took place on 21st July 1964.
To mark this day, celebrations are held annually in schools in order to foster a common Singaporean identity and to encourage good relations between the ethnic groups.
Students are encouraged to dress in traditional costumes and attend school.
As part of these celebrations Traditional Games that have roots in all three Asian civilizations are played like Chaptek, Five Stones,Marbles and Gasing.
Other games that are uniquely Singaporean like Card Games (Snap, Happy Family, Old Maid and Donkey) and Kuti Kuti are also played.
